My time at SouthFair was short lived, but an excellent experience for myself as I moved forward to my senior year in high school. When I first arrived at SouthFair I was very nervous, but excited to get to know everyone. My experience at SouthFair was a big learning tool, it taught me how to communicate with others efficiently, to always ask for help when you don’t understand something, and to always make a systematic plan when given a work assignment so you won’t spend hours on one project.
Since I had no work experience prior to working at SouthFair I thought everything was going to be super hard and I was going to be upset every day because I didn’t understand something, but once I actually started getting work I found that It wasn’t as difficult as I thought It would be, Ms. Annie and everyone else in the office was great with helping me if I had questions about anything or showing me where thing where if I asked.
My favorite thing to do at SouthFair was to go out to the apartments, I’m not an outdoors type of person, but It was nice to get out of the office are for a little while. Overall I really enjoyed my experience at SouthFair, It bridged a little pathway to what I do and don’t want to be when choosing my college majors.
I want to thank Ms. Annie for allowing me the wonderful opportunity to be a part of SouthFair over the summer.
