This will be my second summer working at SouthFair CDC. I am glad that I was given the opportunity to work with them again. While working at SouthFair I have picked up some new skills that will make a difference for me in the future.
I have been taught on how to communicate with the residents and other companies and how to present myself when giving presentations. While interacting with the residents, I’ve become more comfortable with public speaking to where I don’t mind giving out information. With the help of SouthFair I have gained more confidence. I will take everything that has been taught and utilize it during my senior year in high school and further on to college.
I enjoyed working with a caring and helpful organization that serves their community. I have been inspired to one day return to South Dallas and give back to my community. I will definitely keep in touch with SouthFair.
