On October 22, 2022, SouthFair hosted our second annual Fair Park Estates Front Yard Competition.
A completely free to join the fall-themed competition, yards were judged on three categories:
- Beautification — the yard should have general curb appeal and should improve the look of the home and overall neighborhood.
- Overall maintenance — maintained grass, trimmed hedges, well-tended plantings, etc.
- Originality — uniqueness in landscaping is acceptable as long as it’s cohesiveness with the neighborhood and season.
After a SouthFair board member and Dallas PD officers judged the yards, first and second place prizes were handed out.
